FINDING A FITNESS ROUTINE

Published on: 10/21/2020 06:48 PM

This month's Wellness Wednesday emails will highlight Fitness and Physical Health. Now more than ever, we need to put focus on keeping our bodies healthy and strong. Fitness doesn't have to be complicated. It can be: taking 3 minute breaks in your day to stretch, going for a quick walk or even parking further in the grocery store lot! Find what works for you and your schedule but, the goal is to keep moving! Exercise helps us fight off disease and according to the CDC, 150 minutes of exercise a week (~21 mins/day) is a good start. Let a healthier version of yourself be your ultimate goal and your "why".

Check out the challenges below for ideas on how to bring mindfulness into your daily life.

DISCOVERY CHALLENGE

Start stretching every morning for 5 minutes when you wake up to help get your body moving and awake for the day. Actually take a lunch break and squeeze in a walk around your block. You are allowed a break even while working from home!

GROWTH CHALLENGE
